Charelle Leibrandt was born and raised in Cape Town. She has been interested in singing, acting and dancing from an early age when she did ballet in primary school.
She has performed in a number of school productions. In high school she took part in Yotv's Quest For Fame and made it through the first rounds for singing and presenting.
Although she started off with ballet, her love for dance evolved as she took hip hop training at the Joseph Stone Auditorium in Athlone. She then continued taking dance classes for a couple of years after high school at Dance For All. Dancing has since become a hobby.
From 2014-2016 she actively took vocal training with a number of vocal coaches including Maya Spector at the Jazz Workshop. She's currently honing this skill. Over the years she has taken part in church plays and did a year of drama at UCT.
In 2017 she did the HAMC course with David Morin which piqued her interest in acting for television.
In 2018 she did the LCA course with Channa Geldenhuys and is currently looking to take some more acting courses.
