The Choice/Dancing with Faith

Our first amazing and inspiring project, was producing a promotional trailer for “Dancing with Faith”, a film based on the true-life story of Elizabeth Robertson Campbell. Elizabeth is the acclaimed author of the bestselling novel, “The Choice”, that tells the story of this incredibly brave and resilient woman’s journey of love, disappointments, hair raising moments and faith. We are in the production funding process and hope to see this must-see story make it to the Big Screen.

The Best Shorts Jury had the following to say about our “Dancing with Faith” trailer: “Winning a Best Shorts is something you and your entire team can be proud of! Our judges base their decisions on the quality, creativity and technical aspects of each piece. The award appropriately reflects the endless hours you and your team have spent to create your outstanding production! Congratulations on your achievement!”

Another great project was assisting director, Jacques Brown, on the exquisite Cupid commercial. After relocating to Dubai, Jacques has been doing outstanding work on the commercial and music video front and invited FMT Movies to assist on his few days back in Cape Town. It was a romantic Romeo and Juliet inspired theme with opulent costumes, dramatic moments, featuring one of our MMM taelnt, and starring the gorgeous and incredibly talented actress and presenter, Andreea Zoia.

Imagine

We are very excited about our short film, Imagine. Imagine was conceptualised by Director/Producer Martez’s multitalented 12-year- old daughter, Zoryn. “Imagine” is what most of us hope for, making the impossible, possible. It’s a fairy-tale story of dreaming big, believing wholeheartedly, until those lines between make-believe and reality blur just enough for those dreams to come true.

Love Affair

Through sound, colour, texture and touch, our film awakens every sense through a smorgasbord of exquisite fashion and colourful make-up.
Not a stranger to fashion, film and photography, local celebrity model, Sam Pegg, has turned her eye to directing. Her short experimental editorial fashion film, "Love Affair", premiered at the Labia Theatre on Orange, African screen, Cape Town, 14 June 2018.
Sam's 'visual vision' lent itself well to a Master Nick Knight inspired YRGB block study in raw colour, beautifully capturing the yellow dress from star designer, Kithe Brewster.
Our soundtrack, Kiss Me", was written and performed by 12-year-old child sensation, Noa-Sunshine Pegg Shuttleworth, daughter of “Love Affair’s” director.
