Since stepping into the modeling industry in 2011, my journey has been one of passion, growth, and ambition. What began as a pursuit to build confidence quickly evolved into a lifelong passion. Setting and achieving personal and professional goals has been at the core of my success, and I am driven by a clear purpose: to excel in my craft and empower aspiring models to realize their potential with realistic expectations.
Career Highlights:
Early Breakthrough:
My career took off with the Kristal Mantwa designers show launch in 2012, where I had the privilege of meeting Geanni D from Top Billing. 2012 also marked my first magazine cover for Bloemfontein Teen Mag.
Fashion Week Features:
I’ve graced numerous fashion shows, including the CUT Fashion Show and Mimosa Mall’s Food Loves Fashion Week. Notably, I walked for multiple designers in Free State Fashion Week in 2017 and 2018.
Photography Collaborations:
I’ve worked with many renowned photographers, with a standout shoot being with Gareth Barclay in 2017.
Competitions and Campaigns:
I was a finalist for Top Model South Africa 2016 and featured in an international Smart Car commercial in 2014. Additionally, I was the face of the Blanc campaign in 2015 and one of the selected faces for the GXXXF/Golden Finger campaign launched in South Africa and Taiwan.
Leadership and Mentorship:
Model Development:
After receiving my teaching credentials in 2014, I trained male models from 2014 to 2018, many of whom secured agency contracts and began full-time modeling careers.
Management Roles:
As Managing Director of a Bloemfontein model academy from 2019 to 2022, I expanded the program to include female models and built the company from the ground up.
Pageantry Leadership: Since 2019, I have been the Regional Director for Pageants SA in the Free State, mentoring numerous national titleholders to date.
Additional Ventures:
Media Presence:
I auditioned for the Top Billing presenter search in 2018 and was a presenter for The Fashion View on Starsat in 2022.
Entrepreneurship: In 2023, I founded my own modeling academy, which has thrived under my leadership, marking a significant milestone in my career.
Skills and Expertise:
Beyond modeling, I have honed a diverse set of skills, including:
Concept shoots, model styling, wardrobe coordination, and male makeup artistry.
Event planning, stage management, choreography and production.
Hosting and MCing fashion shows.
Workshops in basic acting, personal branding, content creation, and social media management.
